On
Thursday, February 12th, 2004, UMFM wil be part of a nation-wide
Homelessness Marathon; broadcasting 9 hours of this 14-hour marathon
from Thursday at 8pm until the following Friday at 5am.
Because it is the homeless who are best able to educate people
on the issues of homelessness...
With the goal of being a consciousness raising event, this Marathon
will provide an opportunity for homeless people and their advocates
to take to the airwaves, and allow a nationwide discussion on homelessness
issues.
